In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction. We will notify you of any such change.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:
- All data in transit is encrypted using TLS/HTTPS.
- Passwords are hashed using bcrypt before storage.
- NFC tag passwords are securely hashed and never stored in plain text.
- Access tokens use JWT with short expiration periods and secure refresh token rotation.
- API rate limiting to prevent abuse.
- Soft deletion of data to prevent accidental permanent loss.
While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
